Whirling Defense Question - Guild Wars Forums

In the skill listing, there are no skill trainers listed for Whirling Defense. Does this mean that the only way to get it is to find a boss who uses it and use a capture signet?

you have to keep inmind we havnt been shown the whole game yet (only about 1/3rd) so its possible that there are many skill trainers yet to be discovered

All skills are currently available at one trainer or another. Not having played a Ranger, I can't say I've seen it personally, though.

Since we're expecting them to be scrambled up a bit come release we haven't bothered to update the trainer lists and keep the 100% accurate - We're not neglecting them, it's just a lot of work trudging a character to each and every trainer with at least three characters to see exactly what's available (Characters that also can't have much in the way of skills because otherwise those already purchased skills would be hidden.). Samge thing holds true for armor and other things that have gotten slightly outdated. It's on the list, we simply have other priorities during the limited time we can gain access to such things. As release draws nearer such things should become a lot more settled and then we'll put in the work to make sure we're up-to-date and comprehensive on those things once more.
